THE VISION

Welcome to Kask. In our Taproom and Test Kitchen we like to do it a little differently. First and foremost, we are not a restaurant. Check your fine dining and chain restaurant expectations at the door, and settle in to embrace a unique atmosphere and tapa style of service (dishes are served as they are ready, not necessarily all at once), one that aims to provide you with an experience sampling new flavours, styles and presentations of food, beer, and spirits inspired by our travels and our experiences in North America and around the world.

We want you to feel at home, just like we do. Ask us for anything you need (well, within reason), and we’ll happily oblige. Socialize, relax, listen to great tunes (even bring a vinyl record if you are so inclined), and check out some classic films and TV shows that shaped our collective upbringings.

Built on the backs of those in heavy industry, Prince George has experienced its highs and lows, but has since diversified. Right down to the decor, we at Kask embrace and celebrate the industry characterizations that created Prince George in the first place, and the people who fuel them to this day. It’s represented in the brand, the vision and the community we serve.

Talk to us, talk to each other, experiment with us, and be a part of creating something different downtown. This is our place!

The Kask Test Kitchen frequently uses common allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, dairy and wheat, so we ask that any allergies or dietary restrictions be communicated to our Service Team. Many of the dishes created here can easily be made vegan or gluten-free. Questions? Just ask!

We are pleased to accept reservations for groups of five (5) or more! Please note that a valid credit card will be required to hold reservations for more than 15 people. If you have any questions about your reservation or would like more information, please call +1.250.564.6046 or e-mail us during regular business hours, and a Team Member will be in touch with you.

Please note: not all reservation requests (i.e. timing, seating preferences, etc…) can be accommodated (if that is the case, a Team Member will be in touch with you to go over your options!), and please advise your guests (especially if they haven’t visited us before) of our casual, share-plate oriented style of service, and that food and beverage creations arrive as they are prepared. Last thing: have fun!

Please note: all group bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation of booking and receipt of a signed quote/agreement in order to hold the space and date. Pricing varies based on the time of day, day of the week, and number of people/options selected.
